You in less than 300 characters?

I’m a French, Tokyo-based designer and entrepreneur passionate about social innovation. I run a boutique strategic design studio called nowthen, and I have been contributing to to Colere’s product design and strategy since Jan 2022.

Can you describe your role in Colere?

I help out with product design and product strategy. On a day-to-day basis that means a lot of conversations with the founders, product leaders, and designers, to align on priorities and processes; plus some hands-on UX/UI work here and there.

What does trust mean to you?

Trust (in the workplace) allows you to just be in the present without fear of judgement from peers. With trust you can simply speak your mind, do your work, ask for help, give and receive feedback.

What's one piece of advice you'd give your younger self?

You’ll regret the things you don’t do more than the things you do — so go ahead and do it 🙂

Show us your happy place

Shimoda in Shizuoka prefecture of Japan. I often take short surf trips and workations there.

What does a good work day look like?

For me it’s all about finding a balance between focussed-work and social-work, blended with a healthy dose of things-that-feel-good. I want to go to bed knowing that I’ve accomplished things, but not feeling completely depleted of energy either. Something like: Exercise in the morning, sit at a cafe and have a good 2~3 hours deep-work session, eat Mexican food for lunch, have a couple of short but productive online meetings in the afternoon, catch-up with my wife over tea and snacks mid-afternoon, write a bit in the evening, and call it a day!

Any tip to make work fun?

It’s all about the people you work with. Just work with fun people ❤️

Can you show us your work set up?

I love working from coffee shops, so on every other day my work station looks like that.
